CONSTRUCTION work is now underway on a new housing estate near Wyre Forest.
Village Meadows in Abberley is a 25-home housing plan from Midlands-based housebuilder Piper Homes.
Dave Bradley, managing director, said: “This year, we are on course to double the number of new homes we are building across the Midlands.
“At Village Meadows, we will be delivering 25 new homes that are suitable for people on all stages of the property ladder and, with the first foundations now in place, it won’t be long until people can see the houses starting to take shape.”
The first homes are due to be complete in June, with a show home opening in early summer.
“We’ve had a fantastic response to Village Meadows so far with customers reserving from plan to secure their favourite plots.
“Customers can currently choose from a range of two, three, four and five-bed homes, with our two-bedroom bungalows set to be the initial homes to be delivered.”
Around 25 per cent of properties have already sold before customers can see a completed house or visit an on-site marketing suite.
All the homes at Village Meadows have been individually designed for this development. Features include popular bi-fold doors in the larger properties, quartz worktops in some homes and integrated appliances in all kitchens, as well as studies and IT areas to accommodate home working. All the properties boast bright and spacious rooms, with open plan layouts and multiple room options to choose from.
Prices for the new homes start from £362,500, with several house-buying initiatives available to help people get onto and move up the property ladder.
Located off the A443, Village Meadows is a rural development, just over 10 miles from both Worcester and Tenbury Wells.
