A PLAN to build new homes near Kidderminster has been refused by Wyre Forest District Council's planning committee.
A proposal was submitted for four new houses and parking on land to the rear of 5 Mill Lane near Blakedown.
Planning permission was previously granted for three homes to be built on the site, which has a single access point at Mill Close.
However, the new plans were rejected due to concerns they would create an adverse impact on nearby residents and "represent an overdevelopment" on the site.
The notice for refusal stated: "The proposed development would create additional harm by virtue of the positioning of plot 2 in close proximity to boundaries of 14 and 16 Mill Close, adversely impacting on the amenity of these residents".
