A KIDDERMINSTER man has admitted causing death by dangerous driving following a hit and run in Alvechurch. 

James Bullock, aged 29, appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday (April 21), charged with offences relating to the death of a pensioner and his dog.

Stephan Jones, aged 63, and his dog died after being hit by a car on Redditch Road in August last year. 

Bullock, formerly of Shawfields Flats, Hollywood, now of Larkhill, Kidderminster, also pleaded guilty to committing an act with intent to pervert the course of public justice.

Following the fatal crash, West Mercia Police launched a photo appeal to help find Bullock.

Bullock's sentencing has been adjourned until May 23.
