THE Bewdley School has said that a planned road closure nearby will have “significant implications” on A-Level exams.
Bewdley Road North will be closed from the junction with Burlish Crossing, to the island near the school, for three weeks from Monday (May 16).
The closure will be in force daily from 9.30am until 3.30pm.
The school has warned parents to plan for the traffic disruption.
On Facebook, The Bewdley School posted: “As a result of the road closure, this will have significant implications on A-Level afternoon examinations, as well as an impact on students being collected at the end of school.
“We are liaising with Worcestershire Highways at present, but ask that parents/carers plan for significant traffic disruption on the A456 and Bewdley Road North throughout the period.
“We advise allowing extra time in getting to the school site at the end of the school day, as Highways are anticipating increased traffic in the area and past the school during the closure”.
