A MAN who admitted causing death by dangerous driving following a hit and run is set be sentenced on the anniversary of the victim's death.

James Bullock, of Larkhill, Kidderminster, previously pleaded guilty to offences relating to the death of a pensioner and his dog in Alvechurch.

Stephan Jones, aged 63, and his dog, died after being hit by a car on Redditch Road on August 15 last year.

Bullock, aged 29, formerly of Shawfields Flats, Hollywood, was due to be sentenced at Gloucester Crown Court on Monday (May 23).

However, the court is still waiting on a report before sentencing can take place.

Bullock's sentencing has been adjourned and relisted for August 15 – the first anniversary of the fatal incident.
