AN ice cream van is being investigated for operating without a licence around the city.

Police have shared a picture of the van that is understood to have been operating without a license to trade and should not be operating outside schools.

Pictures show the van, which doesn’t appear to have a brand name on the side, carrying the message: “Ice cold slush, freshly made for you”.

The van is being operated by a seller who is Kidderminster-based and operating without the licence.

It means it will not have the proper liability insurance or food safety certification.
