POLICE have launched a witness appeal after a motorbike rider suffered "serious injuries" following a crash near Stourport.
A 39-year-old man was flown to hospital after the collision on the A451 in Dunley on Friday night (May 20).
Police have said at about 7.30pm the man was riding a Yamaha motorcycle which collided with a garden gate, propelling the man to the ground.
He suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
Police closed the road from the junction with Redhouse Lane to the junction of Dark Lane.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage of it or the motorbike before the incident happened, is asked to report it online under the Tell Us About section at https://www.westmercia.police.uk/tua/ quoting incident 594 of 20 May".
