A YELLOW helicopter is flying near the Kidderminster area today (Wednesday, June 1).
It's a Western Power Distribution service helicopter which carries out routine line patrols covering a wide area.
The helicopter has been flying over the A449, Hartlebury, today after it was spotted flying over the University of Worcester's St John's Campus, and over houses in the city
The helicopter can survey about 130km to 160km of the line during a normal five-hour flying day split into two sorties.
