VANDALS have set fire to a shelter and damaged a splashpad at a Kidderminster park.
The shelter in Brinton Park was set on fire last week - Wyre Forest District Council has said.
The council said one of the grates in its splashpad at the park on Sutton Road was also targeted by vandals today (Wednesday June 1).
It said if it's too expensive to repair the shelter, which has suffered considerable damage, it may have to be removed - and launched an appeal for information.
A council spokesman said: "We are saddened to report that vandals targeted our shelter in Brinton Park, Kidderminster last week.
"As you can see, the roof of the shelter has been significantly damaged by a fire.
"We have made it safe, but we may be forced to remove the shelter if it is too costly to restore.
"We would urge anyone with information to contact West Mercia Police by quoting crime reference number: 22/53918/22.
"Today, one of the grates in our splashpad was also vandalised.
