A Volkswagen driver will have to pay more than £600 after being caught speeding on the M5 in Worcestershire nearly two years ago.
Michael White was spotted driving at more than 70mph between junctions 7 and 8 of the motorway on June 20, 2020.
White, of Dibden Lane in Alderton, near Tewkesbury, was sentenced at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 1.
The 63-year-old admitted the offence after previously pleading not guilty.
He was fined £225 and had his driving licence endorsed with four points.
White was also told to pay a victim services surcharge of £34 and court costs of £400, adding up to a total of £659.
