A VAN driver from Kidderminster arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has now been released under investigation.
Wiltshire Police launched an appeal for information following a fatal smash, which happened on the A419 near Blunsdon, Swindon, on Sunday morning (June 12).
The crash claimed the life of a man in his 40s. He was pronounced dead by emergency services at the scene.
Officers have confirmed that the driver of a van involved in the crash was a 20-year-old man from Kidderminster.
He was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and suspicion of drug driving.
Police have now confirmed that the man has been released under investigation.
A police spokesperson added: "Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam are asked to contact the serious collision investigation team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 95 of today (12/06).
"Alternatively contact the team direct on SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk."
