THREE men were arrested after injuring two people in an attack that happened in Diglis.
West Mercia Police finally confirmed the three men, aged 26, 41 and 49 were all arrested after the incident on Princes Drive, and have since been released on police bail pending further investigation.
Eyewitnesses at the time reported seeing four police cars, an ambulance and an undercover police car parked on the adjoining road, Thomas Baxter Close.
Police believe that the incident was linked to a fight which happened earlier in the day on St Nicholas Street.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:" We were called to Princes Drive, Worcester at about 9.25pm on Friday 17 June following reports of a disturbance.
"Two men were found to have been injured, though not seriously, and both received medical treatment.
"Three men were arrested in connection with the incident and taken into custody.
"The men, aged 26, 41 and 49 have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
"The incident is believed to be linked to an earlier incident in St Nicholas Street, where there was a report of a fight."

A video taken by an eyewitness at the scene showed an agitated man confronting a group in Diglis.
Four men could be seen involved in the altercation before emergency services arrived.
