A TERMINALLY ill dad from Kidderminster is set to tick more off his bucket list after getting a huge surprise on ITV's This Morning.

Mr Meekcom, aged 56, who was arrested after mooning at a speed camera in Kidderminster, appeared on the popular morning programme with his family on Thursday (August 18).

The dad of two, who has multiple system atrophy, was cleared of a public order offence following a trial at Redditch Magistrates' Court earlier this month.

This Morning presenters Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes spoke with Mr Meekcom and his wife Sarah about the mooning incident, which he carried out in November last year as part of his bucket list.

They then surprised Mr Meekcom with two tickets to see England vs South Africa at a game at Twickenham Stadium, a pass for afternoon tea for two at the Ritz, and a family holiday to Disneyland Paris.

Host Rochelle became emotional after Mr Meekcom's daughters Molly, aged nine, and Phoebe, aged 11, were crying tears of joy.

Mr Meekcom said they felt like "celebrities for a day" and thanked the showrunners for their generosity.

He said: "It was a huge surprise.

"I'm looking forward to taking the kids to Disneyland. They are so excited".

Molly and Phoebe said they were "really excited" about the trip and said they were "very surprised".

Sarah Meekcom, aged 36, said: "I'm amazed they were that generous. I'm looking forward to making more memories for us to share".

Other items on Mr Meekcom's bucket list include a Mediterranean cruise, and taking his daughters to an Ed Sheeran concert.

With the help from Wyre Forest charity, Kemp Hospice, another of Mr Meekcom’s bucket list wishes is being ticked off – a stair lift and bath hoist in his home.
