A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after suffering injuries in a crash near West Midlands Safari Park in Bewdley.
A car and a motorbike crashed on the A456 at around 1pm this afternoon (Tuesday August 23).
The motorcyclist, a man, was taken to the Worcester Royal Hospital with "injuries not believed to be life-threatening."
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We received a number of 999 calls reporting the collision involving a car and a motorcyclist shortly after 1pm on the A456, near West Midland Safari park, Bewdley.
"Two ambulances attended.
"Crews assessed and treated one man, the motorcyclist, who had sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
"He was conveyed to Worcester Royal Hospital for further checks."
Social media users reported traffic backing up into Kidderminster and Bewdley from the crash.
West Merica Police officers were at the scene.
