WI - Mrs Jeanne Round welcomed 33 members, including new member Mrs Jean Keeble, and three visitors to the February meeting. Mrs Irene Bonner and Mrs Sue Bennett have recently become grandmothers.
Members elected the president and secretary for members night in June.
The speaker was Mr Robert Barber who, with the aid of slides, gave a talk on the history of sugar production and the building of the Kidderminster sugar factory, which started production in December 1925.
The next meeting is on Monday at Drumart House when Carol Gough will talk about Sunfield. All welcome.
