FRAN OBORSKI (Liberal): The longest serving and most experienced member of Wyre Forest District Council Fran is standing for re-election in Offmore Comberton Ward. Fran has overseen massive improvements in Kidderminster as a whole and Offmore Comberton in particular in the last 35 years a few of these are: as chairman of the Environmental Health Committee she was responsible for the introduction of the popular Wheelie Bin refuse collection system, as chairman of the Planning and Highways Committee she was responsible for the pedestrianisation of Kidderminster Town Centre, she has been a key player in persuading the Housing Company to work with Offmore Comberton Action Group to get the £250,000 plus upgrade to Borrington Park, she was actively involved decision to build much needed new homes on the old Comberton Arms site, working with local residents and shop keepers she played a key part in getting the new Longfellow Green Development off the ground, she is committed to stopping the waste of £750,000 a year on all the separate council offices and getting A Single Site Council Office in the Churchfields area. In Offmore Comberton nearly everyone knows someone who has been helped by Fran.
