It's the last chance for local businesses to join a host of big names at this week's Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair.

The The Jobs and Careers Fair is making a welcome return to the Guildhall in the High Street, Worcester, on Thursday.

Sponsored by Worcester BID, entry to the event is free for job seekers.

The NHS, Worcester City Council, Amcor Flexibles, Hewett Recruitment, Hayes Recruitment, Ashwell Home Care Services, Step by Step Recruitment, A-Plan Insurance, the Army, West Mercia Police, Sanctuary and Staffline (which recruitst for Sainsbury's) have all singed up.

There are now just a few stands left.

The exhibitors will be looking to recruit a combination of full-time, part-time, permanent, seasonal and voluntary roles.

Regional editor Stephanie Preece said: "The Jobs Fair will be a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking for a change in career or starting out.

"The jobs market has never been tougher but we hope this local event will really give businesses the edge as they look to take on the best staff."

The Worcester News Jobs Fair takes place between 10am and 4.30pm on Thursday, October 13.
