SISTERS Doreen Dixon and Eleanor Davies, who could be the oldest twins from Bewdley, have been celebrating reaching 87.
The sisters reunited with their younger sibling Dorothy Jones, aged 78, who they hadn't seen in around eight years, as part of the celebrations.
The twin sisters were born on May 1, 1936. They previously lived in High Street and went to school in Lax Lane.
The twins worked together in Kidderminster carpet factories when they left school.
The two sisters married two brothers, Cecil Dixon and Philip Dixon, who have now both passed away. Mrs Davies remarried and has been with her husband, Peter for 37 years.
Doreen and Eleanor have eight children between them. Each sister has three daughters and one son. They also have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren between them.
The family have said the secret to their good health at 87 years old is to still have fun and a good laugh, a glass of wine, and keep busy.
