RESIDENTS, businesses, and organisations in Wyre Forest are being encouraged to take part in a new online survey in order to contribute to the shaping of council priorities and the future direction of the district.
The survey, which was launched on Friday, July 14, seeks public opinion on the current activities of the council as well as what should be focused on in the next four years.
Topics include what constitutes a good place to live and areas in need of improvement within the area.
The results of the survey will be used to develop a new Corporate Plan, set to be released in the autumn.
The existing corporate plan is set to expire this year and the new plan will guide the council's focus and efforts until 2027.
Wyre Forest District Council Leader, Councillor Marcus Hart said: “We are looking at prioritising a safe, clean and green living environment and supporting a successful local economy over the course of the next four years. We would like to hear if you agree with those priorities.
Demands on local government are continuing to grow but funding is not keeping pace with inflation.
"We therefore would like to hear how we should prioritise use of our limited resources".
The survey will be available on the council website until 5 pm on Friday, August 18.
In addition, paper copies can be obtained from The Hub in Green Street, Kidderminster, and Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way, Kidderminster.
