STAFF at a Kidderminster nursery are celebrating after another ‘outstanding’ Ofsted inspection.

It’s Deerhurst Day Nursery’s fourth consecutive ‘outstanding’ score from the education watchdog.

The inspector said the leadership team is “inspirational” and highlighted its “expert knowledge” of child development and SEND support.

The inspector, who visited the nursery in July, said: “Leaders and staff provide children with an exceptional start to their education.

“This allows all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), to make accelerated progress from their starting points.

“Leaders and staff meticulously consider every aspect of children's learning and development".

Deerhurst has been recognised as an outstanding provider since 2009.

Early years teacher Rebecca Harris said: “We are exceptionally proud of our achievement."

“We would like to thank our team for their hard work and commitment to children’s learning.

"We would like to thank our families for working in partnership with us to ensure our children reach their best possible potential”.
