A BRAND new Polish bakery in Kidderminster is opening its doors for the first time today (Saturday, September 16).

The Bread House, on Comberton Hill, will be serving up cakes, doughnuts, sandwiches, coffee and even hot dogs.

It's a family-run business, with owner Angelika Madurajska passionate about celebrating traditional Polish food with the town.

Her son Kacper Madurajski said: "It's my mum's dream. She's been hoping to open something for a very long time.

"She was going to open a cafe in Poland and then Covid hit".

The family has been living in Kidderminster for the last 16 years.

Angelika added: "This is my passion project and something I hope will serve our community.

"I always wanted to open the shop with Polish bread and cakes to introduce a taste of Poland in England but also bring the taste of home to our Polish community".

The bakery will open its doors at 10am.
