DRIVERS were delayed in Bewdley this morning after a lorry got stuck in a tight spot on High Street.
The narrow road was blocked by the HGV after it got stuck between buildings earlier today (Monday, November 20), with motorists having to turn around.
One High Street resident, who did not wish to be named, said he saw the trapped lorry at 9.30am and witnessed "lots of traffic queueing" and cars turning around.
He said that the section of the road was "very tight" and that similar incidents have happened in the past.
"I had to turn around and go back", he said.
"When the road was built it was originally designed for a horse and cart".
"It's very tight that section".
He added that the road is now clear.
