The hugely popular Santa trains are returning to the Severn Valley Railway (SVR) this weekend.

Starting on Saturday, November 25, the seasonal locomotives will be departing from Kidderminster on a magical steam journey to Arley.

The guests will depart to watch a fabulous new panto show where mischievous elves, Jingle and Jangle, will be going on another festive adventure with their new friend Jack Frost when snow stops falling in the North Pole.

The SVR’s visitor engagement manager, Lewis Maddox, said: “Christmas is a magical time of the year on the railway.

“I’ve seen a preview of the panto show and it’s set to be great family fun for both adults and children. It’s one not to be missed, as Christmas at the SVR is all about making precious memories.”

Following the fun and laughter of the show, it’s all aboard the Santa train for the return journey home.

Complimentary hot drinks and sweets are included in the ticket price and each child receives a quality gift and free return ticket for next year.

Each group will have a private compartment or reserved table with services running at weekends up to Christmas Eve and on Friday, December 22.
