Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has given a stark warning about drones.
The charity highlighted potential adverse effects of drones flying near emergency services aircraft.
Ian Jones, clinical operations director, said: "A patient requiring advanced clinical skills, flying a drone that could disrupt our ability to rapidly reach or treat those in critical need can have an adverse effect on their situation."
The urgent reminder comes as the UK expects 76,000 drones in its airspace by 2030.
It urges the responsible use of drones, especially near its three operational airbases.
