DRONE footage has captured the moment fireworks were set off in a street during New Year’s celebrations.
The video, by Mini Sky Hawk, shows fireworks being ignited on George Street in Kidderminster near Tesco Express.
The footage was taken just after midnight on New Year's Eve as people partied across the country to welcome in the new year.
The drone user, who did not wish to be named, described the act of setting off fireworks in the street as “completely irresponsible”.
In the video, they said: “A member of the public told us that a group of people were setting off fireworks at the bottom of George Street, Kidderminster.
“We took a little look. To be clear: We absolutely do not endorse the use of fireworks in such a public space.
“The risk to life and property is very high. Completely irresponsible”.
