A THEATRE group is set to perform its first pantomime in four years.

Bewdley Community Theatre Group is getting ready to raise the curtain on their 2nd pantomime with their version of Cinderella.

It will be the group’s first panto since 2019, before the pandemic, and audiences can see it at St Anne’s Church in Load Street from Wednesday, January 3 2024.

Linda Candlin, chair of the theatre group said: “Our members have put so much work into this performance, starring some of our usual players and introducing many new members to the group”.

Kyle Daisley, the producer of the show added: "It is, of course, full of songs, laughter, glittering costumes and amazing lighting and stage effects. This is a pantomime not to be missed!”

The show is being directed by Jessica Timms who played Cinderella in the 2019 performance and has since obtained a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre .

Performances start at 7.30pm and 2.30pm for the Saturday matinee.

Tickets start from £10 and are available to purchase online by searching Bewdley Community Theatre Group (Bewdley Community Theatre Group event tickets from TicketSource.) or from Wyre Forest Books in Load Street, Bewdley.
