A DRIVER suffered injuries after a two-vehicle crash near Kidderminster which caused a busy road to close.
The incident happened on the A449 in Torton on Wednesday afternoon (January 9).
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the road was closed.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We received a call around 1.45pm with a report of a collision on the A449 near Kidderminster.
"Officers attended the incident to find two vehicles involved in the collision.
"One of the drivers sustained injuries".
A fire brigade spokesperson added: "Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wyre Forest Fire Station were called at 1.45pm on January 9 to a road traffic collision at the junction of the Droitwich Road and the Worcester Road, Kidderminster.
"The incident involved two vehicles which were both on all four wheels on the roadway.
"No persons were trapped".
