SEVERN Valley Railway has released dates and bookings in February and March for a line-up of on-train dining experiences for 2024.

Following the success of its high-end dining experiences last year, visitors can experience vintage afternoon teas, Sunday lunches and brand-new gin train experiences.

Hosted on board a restored teak dining carriage, the renowned gin connoisseur team from Piston Gin will take guests on a journey along the line, where there’ll be the chance to sample gin creations.

On selected dates in both February and March, guests can step back in time for Vintage Afternoon Tea. Seated on board the elegant, first-class carriages, passengers will enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury treats, with views across the Worcestershire and Shropshire countryside.

The SVR’s catering partners at Bewdley-based Paisley Flour will also be offering Sunday Lunch Dining on selected dates in February and March.

Nicky Freeman, visitor experience manager, said: "We are thrilled to offer these extraordinary dining experiences on board the Severn Valley Railway."

"Whether you're a lover of vintage vibes, a connoisseur of fine dining, or a gin enthusiast, we have the perfect on-train dining experience for you."

Space is strictly limited for all these premium dining experiences. Full details and booking are available at svr.co.uk.
