Three teenagers arrested on suspicion of public order offences in Kidderminster have been released on bail.

The males, aged 14, 17 and 18 were arrested following an isolated incident of disorder in the town centre on Sunday (February 18) and were said to be helping police with their enquiries.

The incident happened between 5pm and 8.45pm near the fast food restaurants in Weaver's Wharf.

West Mercia Police have issued an update today (Wednesday, February 21) and said the three teens have now been released on bail.

In an appeal earlier this week to alert the public to the incident, West Mercia Police were appealing for witnesses.

Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Wyre Forest, Lisa Hornberger, said: “The public may witness a higher-than-normal police presence in the area over the coming days as we offer reassurance that this was an isolated incident.

“We would like to hear from anybody who may have witnessed anything between 5pm and 8.45pm last night to come forward and tell us what they know.”
