DRONE footage has been shared of the ongoing works in Bewdley to install new permanent flood barriers.
The Kidderminster Drone account captured the extent of the work at the Wribbenhall side of the River Severn.
Beales Corner has been affected by rising river levels in recent years.
After the flooding in 2020 funding was made available by the government for impacted communities, enabling the Environment Agency to consider a flood risk management scheme for the Beales Corner area of Bewdley and keep the main Kidderminster and Stourport roads into the town open at times of flood.
A one-way traffic system has been in place due to ongoing construction work for the new flood defences which aims to protect homes in the town.
The Environment Agency recently said that the scheme is currently on track.
The Environment Agency is also holding drop-in sessions about the work over the next two months.
The next sessions will take place at St George's Hall between 11am and 2pm on April 9 and April 23.
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "Work is progressing on the Beales Corner Flood Risk Management Scheme in Bewdley, Worcestershire.
"Concrete at Millside Court has been removed and replaced with cohesive material from elsewhere on site, helping towards the sustainability of the scheme.
"Overall, the project remains close to the programme due to faster installation of piles than expected."
