Ahead of the return of Classic Ibiza to Ragley Hall, house music fans have chosen five tracks to be performed live by an orchestra.

The event, set for Saturday, July 6, saw the live event's 55,000 social media followers take part in a track poll over Easter.

5,000 votes were cast, allowing followers to choose five tracks to be performed live by the Urban Soul Orchestra as it leads a five-hour celebration of Balearic-infused house music.

These selected tracks, from a shortlist of 10, include 'Anthem' (N-Joi), 'Dirty Cash (Money Talks)' (Adventures of Stevie V, Todd Terry), 'Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless)' (Crystal Walters), 'Space Cowboy' (Jamiroquai, David Morales), and 'U Sure Do' (Strike).

The tracks will join 11 other newly orchestrated pieces in a 40-track set that will re-imagine house classics into orchestral pieces for the event as they team with DJ Goldierocks.

Event organiser, Lisa Ward, said: "These are all anthemic house tracks, with iconic vocals that lend themselves perfectly to that special Urban Soul Orchestra treatment.

"They also provide those spine-tingling, sing-along moments, which is part of what makes the Classic Ibiza experience so special."

Aside from the 16 fresh tracks this summer, Ms Ward pointed out that the set prepared by Stephen Hussey’s Urban Soul Orchestra also includes some Classic Ibiza favourites which have not been performed in years.

She added: "Next year will mark 10 years of Classic Ibiza, so incredibly we’ve accumulated a repertoire of over 130 tracks to choose from.

"I know our incredible Warwickshire crowd is going to love what we have in store for them."

The event is expected to initially mirror the atmosphere of Ibiza's iconic beachside bars, before transforming into a nightclub by the event's end at 11pm.
