A PLAN to convert the former Original Factory Shop into a new restaurant has been revealed.
A planning application to convert the shop on Bridge Street, in Stourport, into a restaurant with a takeaway service has been submitted to Wyre Forest District Council.
The Original Factory Shop, a discount store, closed for good in summer 2023. Popular Stourport shopkeeper Kash Mepa then opened up a discount store at the site in October last year.
According to the new plan, the proposed use will be a restaurant with a takeaway facility.
According to the heritage statement: "The proposal is a simple application for a change of use and proposes not external changes or alterations the shop front or advertisements".
People can view the application by searching the reference 24/0168/FUL on the Wyre Forest District Council planning website.
