THE family of a popular Kidderminster man who died suddenly at a gym have announced the date of his funeral.
Paul Whitehouse passed away at TruGym at Weaver's Wharf after suffering a heart attack in March.
Tributes have been flooding in for the 51-year-old, who has been described as a "kind" and "caring" man with a "keen passion for weightlifting."
His funeral will be held at 3pm on Friday, May 10, at St George’s Church, Radford Avenue, Kidderminster.
Those who attend are asked to wear something red if they would like, to symbolise Liverpool FC, the football team he loved.
Leigh Whitehouse, a Wyre Forest district councillor, who is Mr Whitehouse's nephew, said on behalf of the family: "He was such a kind person who would see the good in everyone, always displaying a smile and never taking anything too seriously.
"There’s nothing he wouldn’t do to help family and friends.
"We knew he was popular locally but since his death we’ve been overwhelmed with the hundreds of messages we’ve received".
