A road was closed earlier today following a fire in Bewdley.

Hereford and Worcester Fire Control said two fire engines were sent to the scene on Westbourne Street to deal with the blaze.

The fire service said they were called at around 10.12am today (Wednesday, May 1) with the fire dampened and extinguished quickly.

The road was closed during the incident to allow the fire service to access the property.
