AN ATTEMPTED burglary in the early hours in Habberley has prompted police to appeal for information.
The incident happened at a home on Canterbury Road on May 16 between 1.30am and 2am.
The suspect or suspects entered the back garden via the side gate and tried to snap the lock on the back door.
It's believed they were disturbed and fled.
Police are appealing to the Habberley community for help.
PCSO Alice Owen-Jones said: "It is thought the suspect(s) were looking to gain entry to the property in order to steal car keys.
"Did you see anything suspicious or have any information any information that might help enquires?
"Please get in touch with us by calling 101 and quoting incident number 00401_I_16052024."
