Stourport-on-Severn residents are invited to nominate community groups, organisations or individuals they think deserve a special donation.
Taylor Wimpey West Midlands, currently building homes at Parsons Chain on Hartlebury Road and Windermere Grange on Coniston Crescent, has launched a community chest competition with a grand prize of £1,000.
The initiative seeks to encourage residents to put forward groups or individuals in the area they deem worthy of this cash injection.
Whether the donation helps towards new equipment or supports a personal fundraising challenge, Taylor Wimpey West Midlands is keen to support local activities.
Nominations should be sent by email including the name of the nominee and the reason behind the nomination to stourportcommunitychest@taylorwimpey-pr.co.uk by June 21.
Ben Walker, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey West Midlands, said: "We’re excited to be delivering two new communities in Stourport-on-Severn, and to further demonstrate our commitment to the local area we are launching our Community Chest competition where we pledge to support a cause close to our residents’ hearts.
"We know that community groups and local charities rely heavily on the support they receive so If you know of a worthy cause in Stourport-on-Severn then we would love to hear about them.
"We look forward to receiving the nominations and announcing the winner in June."
Both Parsons Chain and Windermere Grange developments have a range of two, three, and four-bedroom properties available.
