Police have launched an appeal after an attempted car theft in Kidderminster.
West Mercia Police said they are investigating a report of an attempted car key burglary in Lea Castle Drive.
The incident happened between 2am and 2.30am on Saturday, June 8 when three men were spotted ripping off cables for lights to a residential property.
The residents were alerted and the men got into a waiting car, which was black in colour and had a noisy exhaust.
There were three vehicles of interest on the driveway with officers believing the men were intending to target one of them.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We are investigating a report of an attempt car key burglary on Lea Castle Drive in Kidderminster.
“Police Ref 00050_I_08062024. If you’ve seen anything suspicious or have information that might help with enquires, please call 101.”
