A KIDDERMINSTER firm is moving into a new purpose-built warehouse at an industrial estate which was previously ravaged by a severe fire.
Kidderminster Roofing LTD is relocating to a new site on Park Street Industrial Estate, which will be three times larger than its current site on Lisle Avenue.
The relocation will provide an improved roofing supplies hub for professional roofers, builders and DIYers alike.
More stock will be on offer at the new site, with new and improved product lines and better yard conditions and access.
The new move will also require more staffing which will provide further job opportunities to the local area.
The site rebuild follows a devastating fire which took place on September 8, 2021, which destroyed multiple units.
Since then planning has been approved on the site for units to be rebuilt. Although the shell of the warehouse building is still intact, work has been carried out to create new and safe premises.
Managing director Jamie Pescaglini said: “We’re very excited for the new move for the business and the opportunities this will create both for the business and for the local area.
"I would particularly like to thank all our hardworking staff that has made the move possible, our loyal customer base as well as our landlord for allowing us to work with them to create our vision.”
The new store is expected to open in late July/ early August.
Kidderminster Roofing Supplies LTD was started in 2003 as a sister company to Kidderminster Roofing Contracts.
