A man has been charged following a burglary at a shop in Kidderminster.
West Mercia Police said they received a call at around 1.30am yesterday (Wednesday, June 12) with a report of a burglary at WHSmith on Vicar Street.
Officers attended the incident and arrested 28-year-old man.
Josh Plant, of no fixed abode, has now been charged on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal, theft from a shop and burglary other than dwelling theft.
He was remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, June 13).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a call around 1.30am yesterday (June 12) with a report of a burglary at a business on Vicar Street in Kidderminster. Officers attended the incident and arrested a 28-year-old man.
"Josh Plant of no fixed abode was charged with burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal, theft from a shop and burglary other than dwelling-theft."
