Firefighters came to the rescue after a dog got its head stuck in a cat flap in Kidderminster.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wyre Forest Fire Station was called at around 1.26pm today (Friday, August 16) after Hank got his head stuck in the door.
The Rottweiler dog, which fire crews dubbed 'Hank the Tank', was released from the cat flap on The Oaklands using small tools by firefighters.
Hank wasn't injured in the incident and was freed from the cat flap shortly after 2pm.
Fire Control said Hank was "one happy customer" following his release.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wyre Forest Fire Station was called at 1.26pm on Friday, August 16 to a minor release on The Oaklands, Kidderminster.
"The crew used small tools to release a Rottweiler dog whose head was stuck in a cat flap. There were no injuries and the incident was marked as pending closure at 2.06pm."
In a post, a Hereford and Worcester Fire Control said: "One crew from Wyre Forest Fire Station rescued Hank the Tank from a cat flap. One happy customer."
