POLICE have warned motorists to ensure they keep their car doors locked and take valuables out of their vehicles at night after suspicious activity was reported in Kidderminster.
Broadwaters PCSO Keeley Hill highlighted an incident on the West Mercia Police Neighbourhood Matters website in which a man dressed in black clothing was seen trying car door handles in the Monastrey Avenue and Baskerville Road area of Kidderminster in the early hours of Sunday August 18.
The suspect was spotted between 2am and 3am, she said – adding: “Please ensure your car doors are locked and do not leave anything valuable in your car. Please can residents check if anything has been picked up.”
Anyone who sees anything suspicious is asked to call police on 101 or 999 if a crime is in progress.
