A man has been charged with failing to provide a specimen following a two-car collision along a main road in Kidderminster.
West Mercia Police said they were called to a collision at the junction of the A449 Wolverhampton Road and Park Gate Road shortly after 9pm yesterday (Thursday, August 22).
David Wood, aged 39, of Hermitage Way, Stourport-on-Severn, was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with failing to provide a specimen.
He has been bailed to appear at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 29.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Police were called to a collision at the junction of Park Gate Road and the A449 Wolverhampton Road shortly after 9pm yesterday (August 22).
"David Wood, aged 39 of Hermitage Way, Stourport-on-Severn, was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with failing to provide a specimen.
"He has been bailed to appear at Worcester Magistrates' Court on October 29."
West Midlands Ambulance Service were also at the scene after being called at around 9.06pm yesterday.
Three ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene and treated three patients for injuries not believed to be serious.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a two-car RTC near to the junction of Wolverhampton Road and Park Gate Road at 9.06pm.
"Three ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival, we discovered three patients, two men and a male teenager. They were all treated for injuries not believed to be serious before one of the men was transported to Russell’s Hall Hospital whilst the remaining two patients were taken to the Alexandra Hospital."
