A DRIVER who bought a Range Rover for a 'too good to be true' price was pulled over by the police.
Central Motorway Police Group seized a stolen Range Rover after an unknowing person bought it thinking the were getting a bargain.
It has led them to warn residents to do their homework before buying a car.
A spokesperson for Central Motorway Police Group said, "If the deal is ‘too good to be true,’ then maybe it’s actually a stolen Range Rover that you’ve just bought.
"There is so much advice online about buying a private-sale used vehicle.
"Do your homework before buying, or you may end up out of pocket like these folk."
