YOUNG football players in Wyre Forest are invited to join a series of new playing sessions due to kick-off in September.
The Twilight Football sessions follows the success of the Summer Football Club (SFC) and will be delivered by Kidderminster Harriers in the Community.
Tailored for young footballers aged 13 to 16, these sessions provide expert coaching and a structured environment to refine your skills.
They will be held at Baxter College on Fridays, from 5pm to 6pm, starting Friday September 6 and at Stourport High School on Mondays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm, starting Monday, September 9.
Players can expect professional, fun, and structured football training that focus on skill development, teamwork, and match play, all in a supportive atmosphere to enhance your abilities.
This program is sponsored by Community Housing, West Mercia Police’s Police and Crime Commissioner, and Travis Perkins.
Senior Police and Community Support Officer Andy Stevens said: “It is a great privilege to deliver the youth football activities across the Wyre Forest for the next year with our partners.
“We hope that the programme continues to be a success and provides plenty of fun, participation and high energy in locations which are safe and suitable all year round.”
Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion said: “Football has the power to not only improve health and wellbeing but bring people closer together.
“I am proudly supporting these sessions as I understand the importance of investing in the future of our young people and setting them up to succeed with a focus on growing life-skills that not only help them, but also benefit society as a whole.”
