Police have issued a warning to residents after a van was seen acting suspiciously outside residential properties in Kidderminster. 

Kidderminster East and North SNT said a white van was spotted in the early hours of Tuesday (August 27) acting in a suspicious manner around parts of the town. 

A resident on one estate, which was not specified by police, disturbed those in the van but noticed they had returned again at around 2.30am. 

Officers are urging residents to report similar incidents or anything suspicious to police. 

A spokesperson for Kidderminster East and North SNT said: "A white van was seen in the early hours of Tuesday, August 27, acting in a suspicious manner outside residential properties. 

"We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle. 

"If you have information about this or any other suspected crime, please let us know using the online 'Tell Us About' form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk."
