Huge crowds gathered at the weekend to welcome the return of a much-loved annual carnival.
Stourport Carnival has been held annually since 1925 and sees a variety of events and activities come to Riverside Meadows and throughout the town.
On Saturday (September 7), hundreds of people lined the streets to witness the carnival land parade which left from Areley Kings at 12.30pm.
Despite the weather, the crowds turned out in full force to cheer on the floats and performers, including Wyre Forest Cheerleaders, Girl Guides, the Army Cadet force and carnival royalty Jasmine Simpson, Max Dancyger, Elizabeth Leach, Amelia Pengelly-Moore and more, as they made their way into town.
Collection buckets were also carried throughout the land parade with all money being donated to local charities and organisations.
The highly anticipated river parade also took place in the afternoon with live performances from musicians taking place at the bandstand.
The event also featured a fun fair, stalls, games and more so there was something for the whole family to enjoy.
The carnival came to a close with a spectacular fireworks display at 9.30pm with visitors urged to grab a space along the prom or on the bridge for the best view.
Residents and visitors called the display "amazing" and praised the organisers for a "fantastic" event.
