A HISTORIC race in the Worcestershire village of Cookley is set to return this Sunday (September 15).
The popular 'Round The Wall Race' in the village has been running for more than 80 years.
This year, the 3.4-mile race, which covers the circumference of Cookley, will raise funds for the Stop Lea Castle Farm Quarry campaign.
The annual event has previously been supported by Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant, who has presented trophies and medals to runners competing.
It costs £5 to enter the race and entry forms are available at The Eagle pub in the village.
The event is open to all runners and entrants should sign up by 11am on the day. The race will start at noon.
Last year Karl Heeley, of Amazing Feet Running Club, was the fastest male in the race.
He also set a new record for the event, completing the run in just under 18 minutes.
