A popular tourist attraction near Kidderminster is set to reopen after closing for essential maintenance and cleaning.

Hartlebury Castle is welcoming visitors back into its magnificent buildings from Saturday (February 1).

The popular visitor destination situated just outside Kidderminster closes in January for essential maintenance and cleaning.

The team have been working hard to get it ready for reopening this weekend.

The attraction has urged people to visit this year with multiple events planned so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Hartlebury Castle said: "Set in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside Hartlebury Castle is the perfect place to escape with family and friends.

"There’s plenty to do inside and out, as you discover the stories of the Bishops of Worcester and the Castle’s 1000-year history, explore fascinating objects in Worcestershire County Museum and relax as you take a walk around the tranquil grounds and gardens.

"The Castle is perfect for making memories for generations, and the Visit Britain award for 'Best Told Story' for the second year running is a testament to how there really is something for everyone to enjoy."

There are plenty of exciting events planned for Hartlebury Castle in 2025 including live music, outdoor theatre and children’s activities, crafts and trails during each school holiday.

In February, half term children can bring to life rockets, pirate ships and superhero puppets and enjoy a fun family trail around the Castle.

Hartlebury Castle reopens on Saturday, February 1.

The opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10am until 5pm and weekends from 11am until 5pm.

Last entry for Hartlebury Castle is 4pm.
