Wyre Forest Theatre Academy Youth Theatre is set to bring the magic of Shakespeare back to Bewdley this summer with a vibrant outdoor performance.

The group, which has students from across Wyre Forest and Bromsgrove, are set to stage Twelfth Night on Sunday (July 6) at 1pm in the beautiful Bewdley Museum Gardens.

Following the success of last year's enchanting production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, the talented cast of young performers, aged 10 and above, will once again take to the stage under the expert direction of Hollie Christian Brooks.

The annual performance has become a much-loved event for the local community, offering a perfect afternoon of entertainment in a picturesque setting.

This year's Youth Theatre cast features children and teenagers from across the Wyre Forest area and beyond, proudly representing schools including The Bewdley School, Wolverley CE Secondary School, Bromsgrove, King Charles I School, Bewdley Primary, and Wolverley Seabright, along with a number of home-schooled students.

Natalie Pritchard, principal of Wyre Forest Theatre Academy, said: "Their understanding of Shakespeare's text and the way they bring these classics to life never ceases to amaze me.

"This year’s Twelfth Night is full of laughter, mischief and heart - perfect for audiences of all ages."

Audience members are encouraged to bring a picnic, relax on the grass, and enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly Shakespeare in the open air.

Can’t wait until July? Don’t miss a sneak preview at the Bewdley Carnival on Saturday (June 28), where the cast has been invited to perform a special selection from the show at the Bewdley Museum.

Tickets for the full performance are £10 for adults and £5 for children.
