Repair work to a much-loved paddling pool in Stourport is set to start.
In an update this week, Stourport Town Council said the first phase of the repair work to the underground pipework at Riverside Paddling Pool will start shortly.
People might notice more activity around the paddling pool this week.
In a post, Stourport Town Council said: "You may notice more activity around the Riverside Paddling Pool this week.
"The first phase of the planned works to the underground pipework will commence shortly.
"Additional fencing will be placed around the site to keep everyone safe whilst the work takes place."
The news comes after the town council announced earlier this year that the paddling pool was unable to open this summer due to "complex repairs", which had been identified.
The repairs require the attention of multiple specialist contractors.
